Grand Ole Party – “Look Out Young Son”

If you’re a fan of the Yeah-Yeah-Yeahs, Heart or even Janis Joplin, you better spend a second with Grand Ole Party, a power blues-rock trio from San Diego featuring the sultry howl of Kristin Gundred, who awesomely enough also plays drums. Their first full-length Humanimals, was produced by Blake Sennett of Rilo Kiley and released on DH Records, the brainchild of manager Dave Holmes, who also handles Coldplay and Interpol.
