La Bloquera (Thes One + Giant Panda) – “Shine On”

You’ll have a hard time digging up a better summertime hip-hop track than this gem courtesy of La Bloquera, a collaboration from Thes One (People Under The Stairs) and Giant Panda. I don’t know where the inspiration came from but apparently the crew decided to take a little trip south of the border where they camped on the beach facing the Sea of Cortez, fished for food, purchased local produce and even visited local baseball games…or should I say “beisbol”. They filmed all the footage themselves on a couple of Super 8′s.

Unfortunately, this one EP is all they officially did together and it’s out of print. But…you can still buy it digitally at the iTunes store or follow the link below to Amazon where a few tracks are available as MP3′s…
