Handsome Furs – “Cannot Get Started”

Dan Boeckner is one of our favorite musicians working today…plain and simple. Many of you probably know his other band, Wolf Parade, in which he shares fronting duties with Spencer Krug. But Handsome Furs is something entirely different. It’s just him and his wife, Alexei Perry, and it’s much more pared-down, electronic and sincere. I’ve even heard their sound referred to as “computerized roots rock”. Whichever way you slice it, it’s hard not to be drawn in…
